educators will engage with businesses through industry incubators intended to identify local talent pipeline
needs and how curricula could be altered to address these needs. They will also identify the industry
credentials that are of most value to the local manufacturing and healthcare industry. With the guidance of
Auburn Career Center, educators will be able to design new curricula that include pathways to these
credentials.

What role does business play in planning and implementation?
Our business partners will participate in the Career Connections Fair’s as a mixed use of a job fair and
career fair. They will also assist in developing and evaluating student Corporate Challenges and provide
shadowing opportunities for students to earn the Ohio Readiness Seal. Business partners will work closely
with educators to adjust pathways so students can earn relevant industry credentials.
